Hi! I’m Taylar!

I am an artist, illustrator and surface pattern designer based in Denton, Texas. I live here with my husband, two dogs and five chickens. For the past 5 years, I’ve worked in art education. In 2022, I made the move to a full time freelance illustrator and designer. I love creating repeat patterns, hand letter illustrations along with editorial and placement illustrations.

In my free time, I love the outdoors, traveling and trying new food! These hobbies inspire my work of playful, colorful, and bold designs of florals, nature, and food. I love creating exciting color palettes with rich textures that bring joy and excitement to the “mundane”.
